I sold a $400 piece of machinery to someone on eBay who turned out to be a crook. The guy's daughter bought the machine which made pin-backed buttons like political campaign buttons.
The daughter even sent me an email complimenting how it was packaged and shipped so securely. She was happy.
Six days later I get an email from her father accusing me of ripping her off, claiming the machine didn't work which was totally untrue.
Paypal froze my account and refunded all his money. When he returned the machine he kept some freebies I threw in with the order.
As far as PayPal is concerned the merchant is always the crook.
